Que : 422. Why does the poet say, “I would not intrude on him”? Why doesn't he offer him money to buy another ball ? (in about 30 words)
Answer: The poet says the boy was completely lost in his sorrow .So he will not intrude on him. As many memories are connected with 'the ball'. The poet doesn't offer him money to take a new ball. because another ball cannot compensate the loss of 'the ball'.
